SCI Ontario’s Annual Report 2015

For several years, SCI Ontario had produced award-winning annual reports in print and PDF formats. However, recognizing the rising costs of printing and the increasing prevalence of mobile devices such as tablets and larger phones, the design team made the strategic decision to transition the annual report online.

By embracing this digital approach, not only were printing costs significantly reduced, but the report also became more manageable. Updating and fixing sections of the report became quick and straightforward, enhancing overall efficiency.

To ensure compatibility across various devices, the project opted for the Twitter Bootstrap framework. This choice not only made the website more robust but also facilitated seamless testing for consistency across mobile, desktop, and laptop devices.

In 2015, we proposed migrating the printed annual report to the web, envisioning it as a mobile-friendly responsive website. The theme for this transformative project was “Honour,” reflecting our commitment to delivering a comprehensive and accessible report experience to stakeholders.
