
Rodney Ronquillo, Founder of RODRON Multimedia, is a modern-day Renaissance man, a creative professional and the President and Creative Design Lead for RODRON Multimedia. Mastering a wide array of disciplines, Rodney excels in graphic design, animation, filmmaking, fine arts, videography, and marketing. A graduate of OCAD (Ontario College of Art Design) before it became OCADU, Rodney also studied Marketing at Ryerson University and is self-taught in web development, combining creativity with strategic business insight.
Throughout his career, Rodney has earned multiple web and design awards and contributed to major film projects such as the sound design for the 90s classic Johnny Mnemonic with Keanu Reeves, as well as providing creative input for The Matrix. He is also a professional videographer with skills in video editing, motion graphics animation, and 3D visual effects, adding cinematic flair to his creative projects.
In addition to his media expertise, Rodney has extensive event design experience. One of his standout projects includes designing the entire look and feel for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario’s 75th Anniversary Gala in 2015, which featured a True-North Canadiana theme complete with real trees, a creek, Indigenous imagery, and a cohesive design for the venue, menus, decor and prizes. Rodney’s advertising designs have been featured on billboards across Canada, showcased during Hockey Night in Canada on CBC, and at major venues like the Scotiabank Centre. His expertise in 3D animation, VFX, and motion graphics has made him a sought-after creative, earning him a reputation as an innovator.
